Fletcher Law announces a new hire to the firm's plaintiff injury trial team. Slater Felzien has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Mr. Felzien joins the firm's trial practice after working for the Jackson County (IL) Public Defender's Office as a senior law clerk. During his time with the Public Defender's Office, he was involved in the preperation for numerous jury trials as an Illinois Rule 711 licensure recipient.
After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University, Mr. Felzien began his legal studies at Southern Illinois University School of Law. In May of 2020, Mr. Felzien graduated from SIU Law School with his Juris Doctorate degree. During law school he served as a Moot Court Board Member and was a Brief Editor for the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law.
Mr. Felzien's practice will focus primarily on plaintiff injury trials and litigation, with an emphasis in complex litigated injury cases. He will be responsible for the management of an active plaintiff's trial docket. Mr. Felzien and his team will represent firm clients in their legal disputes to bring their matter towards resolution.
